Just a few pictures I took on the day of this Role Play event based on the TV Series/Movie called Firefly/Serenity
The event was hosted by First & Only Airsoft on there Wrexham based site in North Wales called “The Armoury”

A small members day our team attended ‘ The Ex-Site Wales (In Maeshafn Near Mold) Video is in 3 parts, sadly part 2 and 3 will be a while till there published cause of video editing software issue. But they will make it live I promise!
Here’s the 3rd and last video from this mini 3 parter taken at a private skirmish we were invited to at Rednal Paintball Arena, bit of a mess around between a few different teams from Shropshire, North East Wales and Aberystwyth.
Again the video was taken by TopCat (Tracy) and editing done by myself so hope you enjoy.
This entire video is of one game, broken rifle team (some now equipped with spares) attacking the missile base. Defenders have 3 lives and attackers were ona re spawn rule BUT about 25 lives split between the entire attacking team.

First & Only bring you their first Wales based site!! Located in Wrexham (North East Wales) on an ex-WWII Munitions Factory/Storage area.
This video shows only a small portion of the site and PRE prep work so will be lot more polished before there 1st Game on 11th September 2011.
Red Dragon Mercs along with multiple local teams will be in attendance for this day, with over 50 bookings from across the UK already it should be a good opener.

1st part of the footage is from a tower defence game, roughly 3 snipers holding eveyrone at bay through the windows and 1 rifleman doing the same as well as holding the starway indoors. I’d just turned up to this and gave sniping a go but with a soft hopup and it being unfamiliar to me I did crap and ran off to get a diff rifle mid game so you wont see me storming inside on this one as I was too late getting back into action:(
2nd part see’s my team defending the Rocket Base, sadly doing our best with 3 rifle failures in one game, You’ll hear me cursing as my AK 74SU breaks down due to electrics, then later my AK47 in Grants hands as it locks into Safe and 2 seconds after him someones MP5k breaks down and were reduced to GBB an springer, but we give it our best.
Sidenote to more seasond skirmishers, yes there is someone running around with a sniper rifle banging people but he had no side arm and not everyone here is flush with cash and have loads of kit, some are just getting into it, and no doubt already addicted to it. Still fun to see snipers being the one pushing forward and getting stuck in mind !

Hope you enjoy! The footage is taken at the Quarry Side of Ex-Site Wales, not used as often as the main site but its always a good day when its in use!
Sides were roughly 8v8 give or take so nice slow tactical games this day, weather looked dire in the morning so think that’s why the lower numbers but this played to the advantage of the sneaky games that got played.
Good portion of the morning had the defenders being hit and out but the attackers having 35 lives between them all so as to give the defenders a chance! Only one round did the defenders get the attackers to there last life but Lewis sadly dying so close to winning the round!
This was repeated through the entire quarry and then back for egg bap an cake courtesy of the Me,Andy and Sunni the airsofters equivalent of the WI for dinner before using the main site for rest the evening.

This skirmish was a Mil Sim themed game day ran by Lewis, based upon the current Libyan issues.
The brief was our team (non dpm) would be acting as a special forces team inserted to gain access to C4 and blow up Colonel Gaddafi.
Game was free flowing with briefs being done in the game to our CO’s and then relayed down to squad leaders. Luckily our team turned up with enough comms so each squad was able to keep in touch. With Woody as CO he quickly broke us up into 3 small teams with a medic in each and set upon us the task to recon enemy locations, I was in his squad along with Mike, with us not knowing there location our squads split up. Our squad heading through the woods, past the stone circle and the Ritz, we soon bumped into some enemies already dug in way ahead of the oasis. Second in command Ed led his squad to the slaughter house and up from there to the hill-top to check on the oasis, also engaging the defending team. Our third squad led by Bateman legged it all the way up to Doms point to get a viewpoint of the entire site, with his scope he confirmed what we had started guessing, yup there base was indeed the oasis area and we’d surrounded them!
Intel supplied by Lewis to Team CO’s and passed on via comms was for us to secure C4, spread out across the site, with us successfully doing this we then had to hold our base for 15 minutes, and after that we then went on for the ambush of Colonel “Tom” Gaddafi.
Awesomely the C4 “props” we had secured were in fact remote detonators with pyros which we would then put together ready for an ambush, jumping the gun we set off our remote det on a armored vehicle rather than when he walked past. Damaging the vehicle it retreated but on foot there leader soon came back with reinforcements on a mission to extract from another location but having to fight there way through us.
We held off against there 1st assault but they soon medic’d and regrouped for a second assault, pushing forward only when 2 of there team had snuck up behind me an mike while we were busy cutting a mahoosive splinter out his hand giving there team the room to charge the escape point. For a laugh we still set the pyro off just as he arrived, the look on Toms face thinking he’d been beaten at the last hurdle(or stile in this instance!)

Before I start, I’d like to say a big thanks to Ben @ Deadcell for inviting us to there local site again, Rednal is a paintball/outdoor laser site but does allow his team use for airsoft and the owner is toying with the idea of branching out to be a fully fledged airsoft site once the sites been expanded.
We went down on the 27th of March to see how the sites coming along since our last visit when the overhaul was announced.
From the Red Dragon Mercs – Me,Tracy,Danny,Dan,Pete and Aidi went and had a cracking time!
So far the Western type area (normally used for laser) has had a hill (wasted space to be honest,) flattened ready for more bases and a Missile Launcher vehicle. On the way once the ground has dried up in the summer weather a ex-military helicopter will be put in for scenery/cover leading to many Black Hawk Down themed games no doubt!
And lastly a mini Shooting range, fully enclosed it has 2 shooting bays with identical targets for each side, I can see there being plenty of competitions had in here just for bragging rights!
Games played ranged from simple team death match, attack and defend games, couple of Fall back games and to end it a virus game at the end with me & Danny starting as the infected,with a clear winner by someone on his first day airsofting – hiding in back of the van – congrats sorry don’t know your name!

Quick word from the players on the day ….
What can i say about this site…well it’s AWSOME for one, split into two half’s from the safe zone. One side with lots of open space and the cover of handmade buildings and the other side a great wood land with various cover ranging from bus’s,vans,trenches and buildings. Although this is one of the smallest sites I’ve been to it was still great for fast action game and for training new players etc, guaranteed will be going again!
